Brought in a dive watch that had been sitting unworn since I stopped using it for spearfishing a few years ago. The reseal service was exactly what it needed — they pointed out the crown thread was worn before doing the work, which I hadn't noticed. The written summary explained everything without being condescending.

I sent my automatic in for a full service after about four years of daily wear in a humid climate. The turnaround was three and a half weeks, which is what they said it would be. The accuracy afterwards was noticeably tighter. I appreciated the component list they included — that's not something every watchmaker bothers with.

My solar watch had been losing its charge faster than usual. Quartz service took about six days. They found some contact oxidation inside the movement, which explained it. Clear communication throughout and no unexpected costs. Would have been five stars but the parking nearby is not easy.

I was only in Phuket for two weeks and needed a reseal before taking my watch on a dive trip. They were upfront that they couldn't guarantee it in time given the assessment first. In the end they had it done with three days to spare. The advice about gasket interval in coastal conditions was a useful bonus.

Vintage automatic, stopped after long storage
The situation
A 1980s automatic that had been stored for around eight years without being run. The owner wanted to wear it regularly again.
What was done
Full movement restoration: teardown, ultrasonic clean, mainspring replaced (as expected for storage duration), keyless works serviced, regulation, and a two-week accuracy observation.
Outcome
Running within ±8 seconds per day across six positions. Owner now wears it as a daily piece and has noted no issues since collection in February 2025.

Diver's quartz, battery issue in coastal climate
The situation
A dive-rated quartz losing power within a few months of each battery change. The owner had replaced the battery twice elsewhere without resolving the issue.
What was done
Quartz service including contact inspection, which revealed mild corrosion on the battery contacts consistent with moisture ingress over time. Contacts cleaned and protected; case-back gasket replaced as part of the service.
Outcome
Battery life returned to normal rated interval. Owner sent a follow-up message six months later confirming no further issues.

Sport watch, pre-season reseal for diving
The situation
An automatic dive watch rated to 200m, worn regularly for three years in Phuket. Owner planned an extended diving trip and wanted confidence in the water resistance before going.
What was done
Reseal service covering all crown tube gaskets, case-back seal, and pushers. Assessment showed the helium escape valve also needed attention — this was discussed and included. External case cleaned.
Outcome
Completed in two days. Owner departed for the trip with a written service record and care notes specific to extended dive use in tropical water.
