4. Cookie Duration
Session Cookies
These exist only while your browser is open. They are deleted automatically when you close the browser tab or window. Typically used for security and navigation state.
Persistent Cookies
Remain on your device for a set period (ranging from a few days to two years) even after you close the browser. They re-activate when you visit the site again within that period.

Google Chrome
1. Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
2. Go to Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
3. Choose your preferred level: Allow all, Block third-party, or Block all.
4. To delete existing cookies, go to Clear browsing data and select Cookies.
Mozilla Firefox
1. Click the menu button (≡) and choose Settings.
2. Select Privacy & Security.
3. Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, choose Standard, Strict, or Custom.
4. To clear cookies, scroll to Cookies and Site Data and click Clear Data.
Apple Safari
1. Open Safari and go to Safari → Preferences → Privacy.
2. Check Prevent cross-site tracking to block third-party cookies.
3. Click Manage Website Data to view and delete specific cookies.
On iOS: go to Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security.
Microsoft Edge
1. Click the three-dot menu and go to Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data.
2. Toggle Block third-party cookies on or off.
3. To delete cookies, go to Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Clear browsing data.
On mobile: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
Note: Blocking all cookies may affect the basic functionality of this website, including the contact form and cookie preference saving.
6. Your Rights & Controls
You have the right to withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time by returning to this page and adjusting the toggles above. Changes take effect as soon as you save your preferences.
Withdrawing consent for analytics or marketing cookies will not affect your ability to use any part of the Cogvane website or request our services.
